I used to not like wearing compression shorts for hockey but now I have a few pairs of these and wouldn’t without! Good support and movement and helps stop cramping. Socks actually stay up really good too. I have the leggings too but prefer the shorts.

Solid shorts. I’m in between sizes and went down. I might recommend the same. For reference I’m 6’3 230 with big legs and wear a 36 waist jean. I went large and it fits well.
I agree with other poster, velcro is a little too high for taller guys. They definitely could lower it and I think everyone would still be happy.
